Paper Crane Project
Since WWII, the origami paper crane has become a symbol of peace, forgiveness, and love. The Kids Read Too! Project has selected the symbolism of the paper crane as the underlying theme for its various activities. Paper cranes were displayed in the Library and other community sites and then collected and submitted to the Children’s Peace Monument in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park as our gesture of hope for world peace. |
